Air-tight suction

You will just love this product!!! It was on my baby registry and over a year later I still use it and love it!!! It creates this air-tight suction without getting far into baby's nostrils (like the hospital aspirator). You get to see all that gooey stuff through the clear top and then when you are finished you just twist open and rinse in warm water. Another great feature is that it grows with baby from infancy to toddlerhood. Although a challenge to find in stores, Summer infant nasal aspirator is great and worth every penny!!!
This is the one thing I couldn't do without!!!

I've tried them ALL and this one is the BEST! The rubber bottom provides a quick pop suction that does the job the first time. My son would even tip hid head back when he saw me coming with this because it provided the relief he needed without having to stick something up his nose over and over. I've bought one for every friend that had a baby over the last 3 years and they all agree. I even just bought 5 more because I saw that they were changing the model.
great...just do not boil!

Reviewer: Georgie,
This is a great aspirator--the best I tried, BUT DO NOT BOIL it! I used this aspirator with my first baby, and now, 3 years later, am having another baby. I thought I should boil it to make sure it is sanitized. Big mistake! The blue rubber bottom part ended up warping and shrinking and now the silver ring will not fit on it. I'm still going to buy a couple more because I love it so much! It's the only one I feel can really be cleaned well because the parts all separate.
Best of all simple bulb aspirators we've tried

Reviewer: HGMom,
This is the best product of its type that we've found. We've had several different simple bulb aspirators and most we've found difficult to use.
This one is made with a hard transparent plastic nose nozzle that connects to a soft rubber bulb with a small silver plastic ring. The entire design makes this one much easier to use than those comprised of a single continuous piece of plastic. The rubber bottom is much easier to compress than many of the others which have much harder inflexible bulbs, and we have found that it works more effectively on our baby.

Another advantage to the design is that the entire product can be thoroughly cleaned because it comes apart easily and is easily reassembled. We have discovered however that the blue rubber bulb part cannot be sanitized. When subjected to high heat the blue bulb warps and shrinks, which prevents it from being reassembled with the other components.

Overall a very worthwhile recommended purchase.

Difficult to use

I tried to use it but it didn't work well, the thing you put in the nose is too large, and the succion doesn't last long enough to do a good job.
Is it just me?
