NasalClear® is a new battery operated nasal aspirator. It quickly, easily, and safely clears your baby's stuffy nose and helps her breathe more freely. The NasalClear® aspirator provides you with suction that is stronger than that of a traditional manual aspirator, yet gentle enough to use safely and comfortably on your newborn or toddler. Battery operation lets you control the suction, so that you maintain the suction or release it as needed. NasalClear® operates on 2 AA batteries and includes 2 different tips to accommodate different shaped nostrils and a variety of congestion conditions. The tips are made of soft silicone, making them comfortable for children of all ages. Although NasalClear® has greater suction power than a manual aspirator, it is still gentle enough to use on newborns. It comes apart for easy and thorough cleaning and is dishwasher safe. NasalClear® includes a plastic collection cup that helps you evaluate your baby's level of congestion. Also, the aspirator plays 12 different children's tunes to help distract the baby while in use. It requires AA batteries (not included).

The best baby product EVER.....

I absolutely love this product. It is so simple and easy to use and my two year old son has no problems with it whatsoever. The manual one scared him so much and he hated it every time we tried suctioning his nose. But with this one, it comes with two different size tips and we use the short and wide one and it works perfectly. It's amazing how much stuff comes out. We don't normally use the music, as it saves on the batteries, but I'm sure a little infant will love it. I wish I had it sooner when my son was an infant. This is something every parent should have. I'll be giving it away as a baby shower gift.

I have never been successful with bulb aspirators and wanted something that could do the job. This thing is amazing. My kids like it so much that they won't put up a struggle when they see it. (5 month old and 3 year old) I recently discovered that they suffer from allergies and this aspirator is a life sent. Worth every penny!!!

Daughter with Down Syndrome

I got this product because my daughter's nasal passages are smaller than the average infant. She is constantly congested and it makes it hard for her to sleep or eat. It was easy to use and perfect for a smaller nose. I talked about it in a therapy group for children with Down Syndrome. No we are all getting or have one.

Can't say enough about how happy I am with this product. Instead of struggling with my little one to "clear" his nose this makes it so much easier. He especially likes hearing the music which is a distraction from the yucky job I'm trying to accomplish. Well worth it!
Nasal Aspirator Queen

All I have to say is OMG, I wish I had this when my son was born. I am a self proclaimed nasal aspirator queen. Not only am I quite good at using a manual nasal aspirator, I actually enjoy extracting annoying mucous from my children. However, I couldn't derive full pleasure of removing those pesky boogies, because it made my children miserable ... Until I found the NasalClear. I used to have to use the manual aspirator on my daughter (like they give you in the hospital) a few times before anything came out. I was always afraid it would irritate her nasal passages. And of course she cried whenever she saw that blue bulbous apparatus heading her way. Now she barely flinches. I play the music (which is a little cheesy) but I think somewhat distracting too. The NasalClear is a little loud, but not enough to concern me and it doesn't bother my daughter either. This is a definite MUST HAVE for all new parents. It will make your life and your baby's life a lot easier!
How does anyone live without this?

I'm on to my second child with this product. I hate the bulb asperators and don't know how anyone could get through cold and flu season without this. I have bought this for several people having their first baby and all of us love it. Well worth any $$ amount you have to spend.
The best aspirator I've found!

This aspirator was actually referred to me by another mother. I was still using the one given to me at the hospital. My mother-in-law swore that the one I had was for the ears and not his nose. The suction on the old one was not the greatest but it was all I had. When I heard about this one, I felt I had nothing to lose so I purchased it. It really does the job and my son actually likes it and tries to suction his own nose. My son dropped it in the sink as I was cleaning the suction chamber and it stop working. I took it apart and let it dry out so that it would hopefully work again. We are back in business - this is definitely a must have!
Works well on my toddler

When I read the description for this, it said that this aspirator was safe for infants and I wondered whether it would be strong enough for my son, who is a few months from age 3. It does have pretty good suction and works well, even on a toddler. There are 2 tips and the larger tip fits him and I think would still fit him when he's years older. The music function didn't work at first, but it just started working after a few uses - although that function doesn't really interest me.
As an infant, my son was in the hospital and they had this great aspirator that attached to suction coming from the wall. I wanted something like that but I was wary of those suction devices that work with your vacuum cleaner - just too noisy and risky to me. So this was the only other option I could find and I couldn't find any reviews for it. But I got it anyway and I'm happy with it. It is easy to clean and removes snot well. I would recommend anyone using this on their child to use saline drops first to loosen the mucus...otherwise the constant suction on something that has thickened would probably be painful for your kid. The saline also makes it a lot easier to remove the mucus. I think if you think the suction isn't strong enough, you should use some saline and then the stuff should come out.
It does have a little noise with it which infants might not like, but maybe the music helps with that. It sounds kind of like a vibrating cell phone. My son isn't bothered by it and even likes using it at times. I don't think it removes stuff that you couldn't already get with a traditional nose sucker though, it just is faster - you don't have to keep sucking and squirting like you do with a regular sucker.
One thing I've found after using this for a few months is that if there is a period when you have to use it frequently (your child has a cold or flu), you will find that you need to change the batteries after several days (say, a week or so). The suction power does decrease with use, so to get good suction a fresh set of batteries helps. |

I bought this product because we strugle with our daughter's colds all the time. The aspirator is a very confortable and good solution, we were amazed at how much nasal liquid you are able to extract.
